The Long Beach Junior Chamber Charitable Foundation

is dedicated to the support of charitable causes within the Greater Long Beach Area.

We provide educational and training opportunities for members of the

Long Beach Junior Chamber Local Chapter.

The Foundation was established by former and current Junior Chamber Chapter members and is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit charitable organization. Since its establishment the Foundation has given thousands of dollars to education, local youths, and charitable organizations through a variety of fundraising activities.

Our programs include the Adopt-a-Teacher Grant Program in memory of former Long Beach Elementary School Teacher, Mary Pat Bamrick and  Student Scholarships at Long Beach City College.  Helping to bring people together through our fundraising events such as the highly successful Long Beach Food Truck Fest, the inspirational Rock-the-Teacher Concert, and the friendly wine tasting events are part of our goals to reach out to the communities of Long Beach.

“Technology in the classroom is extremely important, therefore, I will purchase access to several websites (Prezi.com, vocabtest.com, Schoology.com, PBS.com). These sites allow my students to be involved in a 21st Century classroom through quality information and the data analysis feedback found on these sites. This increases their learning and engagement through the use of technology that is engaging and stimulating. The students technological literacy is increased and they are better prepared for their roles in college and the workforce.”
